Optimistic tourism recovery

In a meeting between Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam and representatives of ministries and sectors on February 15, the plan to completely open tourism from March 15 was agreed and approved. Accordingly, international and domestic tourism activities are “normalized” by air, land and sea. In particular, the visa policy will be restored to the way it was before 2020.

Previously, from February 15, Vietnam Airlines reopened all international routes to countries after nearly two years of closure. The opening of the sky is key to the tourism industry, especially in destinations that attract international tourists like Hoi An.

In fact, when the international tourist market has not been fully restored, Hoi An still affirms its position in the domestic tourism market.
